what does a cvp student ambassador do?

A CVP Student Ambassador is a first- or second-year veterinary student whose primary function is to represent CVP on campus, help promote knowledge and excitement about extern and career opportunities and facilitate relationships between their classmates and CVP.

Essential Job Functions
  • Assist in the planning and development of student outreach programs
  • Assist in identifying, promoting, and executing campus activities and virtual events
  • Provide referrals and information to interested students as requested
  • Become familiar with our hospitals, regions, and opportunities offered
what to expect
  • Flexible schedule, typically consisting of working one to two hours per week
  • $2,000 annual stipend
  • Option to participate in the CVP Student Colleague Summer Program at a mutually agreed upon CVP practice, including additional compensation and housing honorarium
  • Invitation to the Summer VetTogether: all-expense paid networking, educational, social event held in Philadelphia
  • Professional mentoring and career coaching
  • Confidence, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skill building
