“ Former Practice Manager at Leesville Animal Hospital”

My hospital joined the CVP community in 2018. After managing the hospital as a private practice, my team and I were nervous about the partnership and assumed big changes were ahead. During the transition process, I spent time with the CVP transition team and CVP leadership who offered support through the initial stages and helped to ease our concerns. After many conversations and time spent, I learned that our team, and ultimately, our hospital, were in great hands and gained access to benefits and resources we wouldn’t have had otherwise. We were given the autonomy to continue to provide the same exceptional care to our patients and clients. About a year after Leesville joined the CVP family, I was given the opportunity to spend some time at new hospitals acting as a mentoring practice manager as they went through the partnership process. Meeting with the hospital teams, building relationships, and providing support through the transition is a natural fit with my passion for helping people and first-hand experience transitioning into CVP. The value in having a point person for hospital teams to depend on was apparent and I love being able to help people during this process. My favorite part is creating relationships with new hospital teams, easing their minds, and generating excitement about the partnership. Last year I was given the amazing opportunity to join the CVP Support Team as the Field Integrations Manager where I am able to support our new partner hospitals on a full-time basis. CVP truly cares about their people and respects the legacy of our partner hospitals and that means a lot to me. Ultimately, there is so much room for growth within the CVP community, not only within the hospitals themselves but within the entire network.
