CVP Was So Helpful for Our Family

We were a little nervous about moving from two to three kids this time around so having access to paid parental leave through CVP was so helpful for our family. Being able to take the time to adjust at home, bond with my two older children, and help my wife and newborn through the recovery process was not something we had before, and it made a world of difference. During that first two weeks off, I spent quality time with my two older children which I don’t always get to do. I think the kids really enjoyed my time at home, too. I am taking my leave in segments which really works well for our family. Taking two weeks at a time throughout the year gives us the opportunity to visit family with our new baby, take that much needed vacation time together, and not worry about time off. Not surprisingly, everyone at work was very supportive and checked in on us to make sure we were settling in nicely, which really made my time with my family that much better.
